Hello, my name is Siri Embla

About me

I have spent most of my life learning how to understand what I could feel long before I had words for it.

I was a deeply sensitive child. I noticed shifts in people, atmospheres and energy, often before I understood what I was noticing. I experienced things I couldn't explain, and for a long time I didn't know where my own feelings ended and everything around me began.

Sensitivity wasn't something I discovered through spiritual practice. It was something I eventually needed spiritual practice to help me understand.

When I was sixteen, I had an astrology reading that changed something fundamental for me. For the first time, someone gave language to parts of me that until then had largely existed without explanation. It didn't make me less sensitive. It helped me begin to understand what I was experiencing.

That became the beginning of a path I have now been walking for more than twenty years.

I took my first Reiki training at eighteen and began studying astrology shortly afterwards. Over the years, my work has expanded through tarot, intuitive and energetic work, meditation, psychology studies and different spiritual traditions.

But perhaps more importantly, I have spent those years learning the difference between being sensitive and knowing how to live with sensitivity.

Because sensitivity without boundaries can become exhausting.

Intuition without discernment can become confusing.

Feeling other people deeply is very different from knowing what belongs to you.

And being able to perceive something doesn't always mean you need to enter it, carry it or act upon it.

This understanding is at the heart of the work I do today.

I work with people who want to understand themselves more deeply — their patterns, relationships, sensitivity, intuition and direction in life. Sometimes that happens through an astrology or tarot reading. Sometimes through Reiki and energy work. Sometimes through teaching, longer one-to-one journeys or spiritual training.

I don't believe these practices should take us further away from ordinary life. I believe they should help us inhabit it more fully.

To become clearer about what we feel.

To recognise our own boundaries.

To trust ourselves without needing to turn every feeling into a message.

And to create lives and relationships in which our sensitivity doesn't have to be hidden in order for us to belong.

Today, I work between Norway and the United States, with clients and students from different parts of the world. I offer private sessions and longer one-to-one journeys, teach Reiki and spiritual development, and continue to study the relationship between sensitivity, intuition and the way we experience ourselves and one another.

My work is spiritual, but I want it to remain human.

Grounded enough to live with.

Deep enough to change something.
